The Quiet Route – Northern Approach

7 Days | Less Crowded • Drier • Different Perspective

Overview

Rongai is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, near the Kenyan border. It’s the driest route—ideal for trekkers during the rainy season and offers a different perspective of the mountain. The trail is less crowded, more gradual, and passes through true wilderness.

This route is perfect for those who want a quieter experience with beautiful, untouched landscapes.
